 With a power unit derived from the fantastically successful Carrera 3.0RS and an aluminium crank-case shared with the lengendary 911 Turbo, the Carrera 3 was, for the short period between 1975 and 1977, the ultimate normally-aspirated 911, combining searing road and track performance with every-day driveability. Relatively few of these wonderfully free-revving Carreras were made and the remaining cars are now becoming increasingly recognised as rare and much sought-after Porsches. |
